“Kagoshima City View” is a sightseeing bus which goes around tourist spots in Kagoshima city. There is a “Shiroyama / Iso Course”,  a “Water Front Course” and a “Yakei (Night View) Course”.

If you take “Yakei Course”, you can go to see wonderful illuminations at Kagoshima Chuo station, Tenmonkan and Dolphin Port. The night view of the city from Shiroyama is also marvelous!

In December and January, The city increases in the number of buses to every Friday and Saturday.

The bus (service) route

 ① Kagoshima Chuo Station  →  ② Tenmonkan  →  ③ Dolphin Port  →　　④ Shiyakusyo-mae (Minato-odori Park) → ⑤ Shiroyama  →　⑥ The Saigo Statue  →  ⑦ Tenmonkan  →  ⑧ Kagoshima Chuo Station

Operates every Friday and Saturday in December and January

There are 4 buses (A, B, C and D) in December, and 2 buses (B and D) only in January.

The bus stops for 15 minutes at Shiroyama.

Enjoy Christmas illuminations around Tenmonkan, Dolphin Port and Minato-odori Park. The night view of Kagoshima city from Shiroyama is highly recommended. You will see Chuo Kominkan, a historical building and Chuo Park (Ten park) lit up  near the Saigo Statue. At the end of the journey, you will pass near Ishin Furusato-kan (Museum of Meiji Restoration) on Napoli-dori Avenue, and the lit up row of  camphor trees are also beautiful.

      One-day Pass (Night View Only)  Adults  200 yen   /   Children  100 yen

*Please put the money in the passage money box next to the driver.

*You can buy the Night View one-day Pass (Yakei Course Senyo Ichinichi Josha-ken / 夜景コース専用一日乗車券) from drivers.

*Night View One-day Pass is only for the Night View Course, and you can get off and on as many times as you want.

*A One-day Pass which you can use for tram (day time and night time) and city bus as many times you want is also available (600 yen for adults and 300 yen for children).
