The Kagoshima Marathon will be held under the concept of "From Kagoshima! Road to Run with Hope."
This event is a chance to experience the nature, culture, and warmth of Kagoshima.
Runners will start at the former Dolphin Port site, run to the south along the coast, change direction at Kawasho Hall (Civic Cultural Hall), and head north when they reach Tramway Street. They will pass by famous Kagoshima landmarks such as Tenmonkan Street, the statue of Takamori Saigo, and Sengan-en Garden, as well as enjoy the view of Kinko Bay and Mt Sakurajima. After turning back at Shigetomi, the route heads towards the goal, Kagoshima City Hall.
