Sebira Park is popular a place as a spot for viewing Mt. Kaimon.
You can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the blue sea, steep rocks in the sea, Mt. Kaimon which is called “Satsuma Fuji”, pine trees and the gracefully curved route 226.
If you are lucky, you might be able to see Io-jima island, Takeshima island and Kuroshima island in the distance.

There is a monument inscribed with poems by Yosano Tekkan and Yosano Akiko, a couple who were active as poets in the Meiji, Taisho and Showa periods.
They visited this place in 1929 and composed poems about the view of Mt. Kaimon and being entertained with watermelon from the village mayor.
