Today is the winter solstice, the day with the shortest daylight hours of the year.
This morning, the sun rose at 7:13 a.m.
In Japan, the winter solstice is traditionally described as “the day when yin reaches its peak and turns toward yang.”
It is believed to mark a turning point, from which brighter and more positive days begin to unfold.
With this in mind, we hope that the coming year, 2026, will be a bright and hopeful one for all.
