Café Sakura-no-Yakata is located in a building resembling the Ginkakuji Temple in Iwaya Park in Kawabe Town.
The view from the cafe windows, the pond, seasonal trees, and flowers are beautiful.
This second floor is used as a co-working space.
The popular Boncino and Bonchachino are named after the park's Magaibutsu (Buddha figure carved on a cliff)., with Sanskrit characters or a portrait of Saigo-san painted on the cappuccino and matchachino.
The baked sweet potato soft parfait is popular, too.
Japanese sweets such as Nuikui Shiratama and mizu-warabi-mochi are also available.
The building, which is modelled on the Ginkakuji Temple, was built using the historic Kawabe Buddhist altar techniques.
The various flowers painted on the ceiling and the view from the second floor are a must-see.
