The 56th Chrysanthemum Festival in SENGAN-EN will be pomp-filled with 10,000 chrysanthemums. The world of chrysanthemum with Dolls clothed in chrysanthemum flowers and branches, a three story tower and other beautiful exhibits is waiting for you!
This year’s theme is “Shuseikan (Western-style industrial complex) Project as World Heritage”.
The Reverberating furnace and Terayama Charcoal Kiln, which were registered as World Cultural Heritage sites, are reproduced with chrysanthemums.
The flower language of chrysanthemum is nobleness. People loved chrysanthemums for its ability to remove evil and wished for “furo-choju”, perpetual youth and longevity.

*During the period (Saturdays, Sundays & national holidays only), Park & Ride service is available. Park your car at Dolphin Port and take a shuttle bus or a sightseeing bus. You can park at Dolphin Port for 5 hours free. You also can get free tickets for the sightseeing bus between Dolphin Port and Sengan-en, and a 20% discount on the Sengan-en entrance fee. To get the above services, please get the ticket at Dolphin Port front desk (right side of the elevator) from 9:30 to 15:00.
