Ohara Festival is the largest festival in Southern Kyushu and attracts a large crowd. The festival is held mainly in downtown Kagoshima's Temmonkan district.
More than 20,000 people parade through the downtown area dancing to "Kagoshima hanya bushi" and "Shibuya ondo" in addition to "Ohara bushi," a folk song representative of Kagoshima.
Furthermore, the up-tempo and dynamic dances "OHARA 21" and "Ogojo Taiko" will also join the festival.
This year, the "Tokyo Disney Resort® 40th Anniversary Special Parade" will add even more excitement to the festival.
