*"Kagoshima Haru Matsuri Dai-hanya 2016",scheduled on the 30th of April and 1st of May, was postponed because of the Kumamoto Earthquake and will be held on the 4th and 5th of June.

Hanya-bushi is a Japanese traditional festival dance thought to have roots in the dance Amami Roku-cho.
More than 80 teams, 1200 people, dance to Hanya-bushi.
The main site, Water Front Park and other sites such as Tenmonkan, Chuo Park and Kagoshima Chuo Station will be lively with gorgeous dance and dancers' beautiful costumes.
