Today is the start day of Winter ❄️
“Rittō (立冬)” is the 19th of 24 solar terms (節氣) in the traditional East Asian calendars.
It is the first day of Winter by the old calendar.
It gets colder, and people feel the Winter is coming.
Rittō is middle of Shūbun (秋分), autumn equinox and Tōji (冬至), the winter solstice.
From Rittō to the day before Shunbun (春分 / the first day of Spring by the Asean old calendar, around February 4th or 5th) is the Winter.
It’s about the time when colds and flu are prevalent.
