Hanzo is located near Kagoshima University. It is an old traditional Japanese style home that has been converted into a yakitori restaurant.

Please be careful as you go looking for it as the owners have marked their restaurant with just a simple nameplate. "Hanzo" is all you will see as there are also no Neon signs on the outside of this restaurant. Inside the restaurant it is like somebody's home with a big tatami room and low tables.

They offer cheap food and drinks. Various kinds of yakitori sell for ￥50 and upwards, whilst other dishes like pizza and pasta are all between ￥300 ~ 450. The restaurant is very popular and is often crowded with young people, especially weekend.
