We held a formal christmas party on the 22nd of December, 2011.
Formal christmas parties are rare in Kagoshima, so we were looking forward to it and a little bit concerned sa well (about what to wear)!
People who atteded were very friendly.
We had a great time.
We wanted to have a Europian style party, so the party was a buffet style, and we didn’t have an opening ceremony but there was a short speeech. Guests in attendance made good speeches, too.
People commented “We had a great time”, “Nice to have a formal party”, and “Please hold the party next year, again”.
Thank you very much for a nice time, everybody!
And, we’d like to give special thanks to Kubo-san, president of Sakurajima Daigaku who organized the party mainly and Ando-san who took beautiful pictures of the party.
We liked the place, “Japonais Kagoshima”, on the 8th floor in Maruya Gardens’. It had a good atomosphere, tasty food and friendly staff.
