The best season for wisteria viewing: The Middle of April ~ The Start of May
Around this time of the year, the wisteria will be in full bloom. Many people enjoy white and light purple flowers in the park. Some shops will sell special products, food, and other things during the season.
The opening ceremony is on the 21st of April (Sat) from 10:00.
Kirishima Kumen Daiko (drum) performance and other events will be held on the day.
Kirishima Kumen Daiko (drum) performance will be performed on the 22nd (Sat), 28th (Sat) and 29th (Sun) of April, too. (11:00 ~ / 14:00 ~ / If it rains, the drum performance will be canceled.)
The park will be open on Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays and the days before until 20:00 and the wisteria will be lit up during the event period except for rainy days.
