Fukiage beach is one of Japan’s 3 biggest dune systems. Here at the beach, the big annual sand festival will be held! About 100 sand sculptures will be exhibited.
Many events such as Sound and Lights Fantasy Show (Oto-to Hikari-no Fantasy / 音と光のファンタジー) run from the 1st to the 5th of May (19:45~). Satsuma Kenshi Hayato Show on the 5th of May, Bingo and many other fun events will be held.
TJ Garage Sale (May 15th (9:00 ~ 15:00) in which about 200 stalls sell various things and Art Square (Art Hiroba / あーとひろば; hand-made works exhibition and sale) will also be held from the 1st to the 6th of May.
