To deepen understanding of Japanese culture, the Kagoshima International Exchange Foundation will invite monks from Kojoji Temple and hold this event.
Would you like to take a break from your busy daily life and refresh yourself with self-reflection?
Then, this will be a great opportunity!
Try "shakyo (写経)", the practice of hand-copying Buddhist sutras by carefully writing each letter.
A sutra is a religious text or excerpt from Buddhist teachings, and copying the text by hand is thought to heighten awareness and calm your mind.
