It is a very popular event. During Golden Week, ceramic lovers from all over Japan come to Arita, a ceramics-making village in the mountains.
More than 600 shops line the 4-km-main street from JR Arita Station to Kami-arita Station. The whole area is busy with many customers until sunset everyday. Ceramic lovers enjoy finding nice ceramics and appreciating works of art by famous artists.
