Five Historical stone bridges used tospan the Kotsuki river in the middle of Kagoshima City. Due to the great flood in 1998, two bridges were destroyed, and 3 bridges were removed to this location. The park with these bridges is now a citizen's rest place. Ishibashi memorial museum introduces history and construction techniques of stone bridges.
