Shinonome-no-Sato is a big garden colored with more than 200 varieties and a total of 100,000 hydrangea.
You can also enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms in Spring, maple viewing in Autumn, and the silent view surrounded by snow in winter.
There are hand-made ornaments, made by the garden owner, decorating the way up to the observation platform.
After walking in the garden, having some tea or soba noodles is a good way to relax. The soba restaurant also has drinks and snacks. It opens from 11:30 to 17:00, and Thursdays and Fridays are closed (other than on national holidays, the hydrangea season, and maple viewing season).
