


This shrine is located at the seashore in Ei town. The view of the shrine with the sea, green trees and Kaimon-dake is excellent.
“Kamafuta” means “a pot rid”. It is said that if you put a pot rid keeping on your head and walk from the torii gate to the offertory chest, your wish will be granted.
“Itate Tsuwamono Jinja (射楯兵主神社)” is the formal name, and the road sign for this place near the shrine has only the formal name on it.
There is a beautiful view point which is called “Kibo-no Misaki (希望の岬 / Cape of Hope)” through the path on the left side of the shrine, and here is the power spot.
