[Golden Week Event] SAND & FLOWER FESTA (FUKIAGE-HAMA SUNA-no SAITEN 2013 / 吹上浜砂の祭典2013)

Fukiage beach is one of Japan’s 3 biggest dune systems. Here at the beach, the big annual sand festival will be held! Detailed, but huge sand sculptures will amaze you!

The 1st Stage (May 2nd ~ May 6th / Golden week period)
Many events such as Sound and Lights Fantasy show every night from 19:45, making sand sculpture, Art marché (hand-made works exhibition and sale) and other things will be held. Have an exciting day here!

The 2nd Stage (May 7th ~ May 12th)
Enjoy walking and looking at the sand sculptures.
A bus tour from Kagoshima Chuo Station will also run every day during the 2nd stage period.
Fee: Adults 4,000 yen / Children 2,500yen
*Lunch and entrance fees included.
Start: Kagoshima Chuo Station West Entrance
Time: 9:00
Minimum passenger count: 10 people 
After enjoying the Sand Festival site, the bus will go to sightseeing spots in Minami-satsuma such as terraced fields, Kasasa-ebisu, Toji-no Sato and other places.

During the 1st stage period, special bus service called, "Suna-no Saiten-Go (砂の祭典号)" will operate from Kagoshima Chuo Station
