Osumi Yokogawa Station on the JR Kyushu Hisatsu Line is the oldest station in Kagoshima Prefecture, along with Kareigawa Station.
Both are unmanned stations built in 1903, but the station building remains beautiful and in perfect shape.
At the Hinamatsuri event held here at Osumi Yokogawa Station, a wide variety of Hina dolls handmade by the local people are on display.
