The Taniyama Furusato Festival is the largest in the southern part of Kagoshima city. It is also the only existing festival started as part of the Ohara Festival.
On the festival day, Taniyama-kaido Road (National Route 225, Taniyama) will be lively with dance troops, costume parades, music parades, and other events.
There will also be stage events, a flea market, a handmade market, and a fureai market.
Street stalls will also be set up to enhance the festive mood.
＊No pre-festival festivities will be held.
