The main site for this race is Tanegashima Space Center. There is full marathon for 19-yr-olds plus, half marathon for 16 plus, 10km for 15 plus (exclude junior high school students), 3km for elementary school students and above, 2km for family (3 people in a team includes one or more member of elementary school age or younger).

The signal for departure is a matchlock gun shot that because Tanegashima Island is famous for being the place where matchlock guns were introduced to Japan.
