The historically famous Ryoma Sakamoto and his wife Oryo had the first ever honeymoon in Japan in 1866.
You can retrace where Ryoma and Oryo visited in Kirishima.

On the 21st, the 10km Kirishima Onsen Course (霧島温泉コース) and the 23.5km Inukai / Nakatsugawa Course (犬飼・中津川コース) walks will be held.
On the 22nd, the 11km Hana-ha Kirishima Nanohana Course (花はきりしま菜の花コース) and the 18km Hayato / Amorigawa (隼人・天降川コース) Course walks will be held.
