1. Learn how to grow Japanese iris!
(Engei Kyoshitsu / 園芸教室)
Date & Time: May 27th (Sat) 13:00 ~ 15:00
Place: The Iris Garden
*In case of rain, the site will be changed to Dobutsu Gakushu-kan (Animaru Study Hall).
Fee: Free
* 50 people in the order of their arrival. Numbered tickets will be distribute at the site from 13:00.
2. Open-air tea ceremony at the Japanese iris
garden
(Nodate / 野点)
Date & Time: May 28th (Sun) 13:30 ~ 15:00
Place: The Iris Garden
*In case of rain, the site will be changed to Dobutsu Gakushu-kan (Animaru Study Hall).
Fee: Free
* 100 people in the order of their arrival.
3. Handing Japanese Iris Out
(Hana shobu-no hana-kari / 花しょうぶの花狩り)
Japanese iris will be presented to the first 30 arrivals at the Hana-shobu-en.
Date & Time: June 10th (Sat) 14:00 ~
Place: The Iris Garden
(If it rains, it will be at the entrance of the zoo.)
Fee: Free
* 30 people in the order of their arrival.
*Entrance tickets (High school students & above 500yen / Elementary school & Junior high school students 100yen) for the park required for entering.
