What Tune Is It?
You Can Hear It When You Drive Along the Ibusuki Skyline.

Kinkodai Observation Park (Sky Palette), located between the Kawabe IC and Chiran IC on the Ibusuki Skyline, is a park with good views and fun little tricks.

You can see Sakurajima from the park.

There is a red bridge from the car park towards the back of the park, and when you cross this bridge, music starts playing on the path. I was surprised when I crossed it without knowing it.

Walk yourself and find out what song it is.

This park is also a good place for a walk.

It is a distance that you can circle around without difficulty.

The walking paths are well maintained.
The green trees and seasonal flowers are pleasant.

Now let’s go to the road where you can hear the music.

Turn left at the exit of this park and drive 1 km along the skyline towards Ibusuki City.

Here is a video of an actual drive. (The tires are noisy. Sorry)

Did you find out what song it is?

This is the famous song ‘Kanpai (乾杯)’ by singer-songwriter Tsuyoshi Nagabuchi, who is from Kagoshima.

The fare for the Ibusuki Skyline is 100 yen.

Drive the road and experience the excitement of “Oh, I can hear the tune!”.

Fees for Ibusuki Skyline

Fees from the Taniyama IC to the Ei IC on the Ibusuki Skyline are as follows.

Large and standard vehicles:  ¥100 wherever you get off.

Light motor vehicle (up to 660cc):

Suzuyama IC – Ei IC ¥100 wherever you get off.
