People have been said that typhoons tend to come around this day. It is one of the 3 bad days (二百十日 / Nihyaku-tōka, 八朔 / Hassaku, 二百二十日 / Nihyaku-hatsuka) for agriculture. because all 3 of them are around typhoon season.
