This café with accommodation facility was renovated from a former post office building. It also has a shop.
The entrance to the building, which was inspired by Kenji Miyazawa's 'The Restaurant of Many Orders', retains the appearance of a retro post office.
The shop is located at the entrance, where you will find jars of pickles and miscellaneous goods of cats.
The café at the back has a large window across the corridor, looking out onto a brightly lit garden.
The inside is a little dark, and the lamps on each table remind you of the world of Kenji Miyazawa.
The menu includes drinks such as coffee, chai, and unusual sodas like banana chai soda and muffins.
The Wildcat Muffin Plate, an alternative to lunch, includes a choice of two muffins, pickles, and PoTaLa (sweet potato cake) for 1,200 yen.
Individual muffins cost 480 yen, and drinks range from 300 yen to 500 yen.
